We’re so sad to say that today is our last and final reveal of Aspyn + Parker’s beautiful home! At the end of a project, it’s always sad to bid our client’s and their home farewell. But at the same time, you still have the professional photos and blog posts to look forward to! It’s when both of those are done that you really feel like a chapter of your career is being closed. And that’s sad!

I’ve been getting questions via Instagram about how it was working with Aspyn. ( Most likely from our new friends that jumped over from her page — Hi! So happy you’re here! ) And I have to say: I was hesitant going into meeting Aspyn. I’ve met some big influencers in the past that sadly left somewhat of a bitter taste in my mouth. And for an influencer as big as Aspyn, surely she had to have some ego to her, right? WRONG. Aspyn is one of the most kind, genuine and humble humans. She was an absolute JOY to work with in every way!

From a client standpoint: I really appreciated the fact that she made decisions quickly. It showed that she really trusted my vision and was confident in my designs. She didn’t have to spend much time second guessing, or shopping around for every other possible option ( remembering, that’s my job )! She was also great at communicating. Always quick to reply to emails, answer my questions and make herself available when I needed. She was articulate in paying invoices on time and always thanked me for my help.

From a personal standpoint: Aspyn never failed to greet me with a smile. The way she welcomed me into her home always made me feel comfortable. She sat with me through many hours of styling and carried on conversations to get to know me, which I loved! She offered to give me ( and my family ) free product and soooo much more! She is one of a kind, Parker included! And I’m so grateful for the opportunity I had to meet them. So there you have it… my honest opinion in its truest form!

Now let’s jump forward to the reveal, shall we?

This space is the one with the biggest reveal. Because it’s the room that saw the most change! Although they had the essential pieces for a home office ( desk, desk chair, storage ) this room really lacked in layout and style. The desk was once forced up against a blank white wall. Talk about a sad spot to get creative! And the short storage cabinets although useful, cut the room in half, drawing the ceiling height down and making the space feel smaller altogether. Nothing about this office ( before ) screamed function or beauty.

In the end: We replaced the muted wallpaper for something that popped, found tall bookshelves to create the illusion of a larger room and selected some new time worthy pieces that fit our color scheme. Still swooning over these styled shelves and pin boards!

Lastly, we wanted to share some peeks into Aspyn + Parker’s master bedroom! This room was pretty well done when we found it, but we opted for a couple new furniture pieces + some styling to freshen it up all together! It’s amazing what even just a few new accessories can do for a space!
